21st National Youth festival to be held in Rohtak from Jan 12:CM

Chandigarh, Dec 2 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal said that youth participating in the 21st National Youth festival to be held in Rohtak from January 12 to 16, 2017, would be acquainted with the rich cultural heritage of the country, especially Haryana.
The Chief Minister was interacting with media persons after a meeting of the National Steering Committee for 21st National Youth Festival presided over by Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports (Independent Charge), Vijay Goel, at New Delhi today.
The Chief Minister said that about 6,000 youth from across the country would participate in this festival, during which several competitions related to art and culture would be held. The participants would be provided glimpses of the ancient and modern facets of Haryana, apart from Digital Haryana. They would also be acquainted with the culture, traditions and lifestyle of the State through a tour of rural areas. Inspirational programmes addressed by well-known motivators from across the country would be organised to motivate the youth to utilise their energy towards nation building.
