200 disaster-affected families in Rait receive relief material

Shahpur (Kàngra) Jan 13 (UNI) Shahpur MLA and Deputy Chief Whip of Himachal Pradesh Kewal Singh Pathania distributed household kits to about 200 disaster-affected families in Rait, courtesy of the Americare organisation.
Speaking to the affected families on this occasion, Kewal Singh Pathania said that the state's illustrious Chief Minister, Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, has provided as much assistance as possible to every affected family during the monsoon disaster.
He added that the Chief Minister has amended the relief manual to make it more public-friendly, so that affected families can receive timely and effective assistance in the event of any disaster.

HPV vaccine to shield girls from Cervical Cancer: DC Kangra

Dharamshala, Feb 18 (UNI) A district-level coordination committee meeting was held in Kangra to ensure the successful rollout of the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination campaign aimed at protecting adolescent girls from cervical cancer.
The meeting was chaired by Kangra Deputy Commissioner Hemraj Bairwa and attended by senior officials, including Municipal Corporation Commissioner Zafar Iqbal, ADC Vinay Kumar, Chief Medical Officer Dr Vivek Karol, MS Zonal Hospital Dr Anuradha Sharma, District Health Officer Dr RK Sood, and other departmental representatives.
