2 young persons drown in MP

Bhind, MP, Apr 24 (UNI) Two young persons drowned while they were taking bath in the Chambal river in Madhya Pradesh’s Bhind district, police said.

Uttar Pradesh’s Agra-residents Shelu (16) and Satendra Singh (18) drowned while taking bath in the river yesterday. Other people tried to rescue them but could not save them.

LS mock poll held in Wayanad

Kozhikode, June 7 (UNI) The Kozhikode district administration (Election Wing) on Wednesday organized as a first phase mock poll for the Wayanad Lok Sabha constituency at the Collectorate compound, to check the working condition of Electronic Voting Machines (EVM's) and VVPAT machines ahead of the LS by-election.
Though the Election Commission has not issued any notification related to Wayanad LS by-election, so far, it is necessary following the disqualification of AICC leader Rahul Gandhi, on the charges of criminal defamation case over his Modi surname remarks in 2019 in Karnataka, filed before the Surat court in Gujarat .
