2 killed, 4 injured as Peerkho-Mahamaya Cable Car trolley falls during mock drill in Jammu

Jammu, Jan 20 (UNI) Two persons were killed and four others injured when a trolley of Peerkho-Mahamaya Cable Car Project fell accidentally into the forest area here on city outskirts on Sunday.
"The Damodar Cable Car project employees with engineers were conducting a mock drill of Peerkho-Mahamaya Cable Car (Gandola) project this evening when the mishap happened," police here said.
They said that the trolley was on way from Peerkho towards Mahamaya when it lost the balance due to fast current of winds on view of harsh weather conditions and one of the cable broke and the trolley fell into the gorge area.
