2 drowned in lake

Jalgaon, Sep 19 (UNI) The cousin brother and sister were drowned in lake when they were playing new Jambhul Pada in Jamner taluka in Jalgaon district today.
According to Jamner police, the deceased antified as Payil Nitin Joshi (7) and her cousin brother Rudra Gorakh Joshi (5). As this incident took place on the day of immersion of Lord Ganesha, mourning has spread over Jambul village.
Gorakh Joshi's family lives in a field in Jambul Shivara. The parents had gone out of town in the morning. The children drowned in the afternoon while playing. The matter of the surrounding farmers was also noticed. Both the children were rushed to Pahur Rural Hospital. There the medical officer Dr. . Rohini Suryavanshi and Medical Officer of Primary Health Center Wakod. Sandeep Kumawat declared the children dead.
