2 die due to suffocation, 7 taken ill at Banke Bihari temple

Vrindavan/Mathura (UP) At least two persons died due to suffocation and seven were taken ill when heavy crowd gathered at Banke Bihari temple for Mangal Aarti on the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami, local administration sources said here on Saturday.
Local administration sources said that due to massive crowd at the temple devotees complained of suffocating. As the administration was making efforts to ease the crowd two persons died.
Sources said that seven persons were taken ill in the incident and were admitted to different hospitals.
