2 days 'MAHYCO INNOVATION DAY' in Jalna

Jalna, Maharashtra, Oct 11 (UNI) Leading private sector agri-biotech company, Maharashtra Hybrid Seeds Company Private Limited (MAHYCO) has organised its second edition of 'MAHYCO INNOVATION DAY' at Ghanewadi village in the district today to showcase its various innovations seeds to enhance agriculture
productivity.
As a part of Mahyco innovation day, the company is displaying new products and future seed technologies at Mahyco Research farm location in Ghanewadi village in Jalna district.
The two days events was inaugurated by the Mayhco Managaing director Rajendar Barwale at research farm to exhibit innovations in both row crops and vegetables crops including cotton, pearl millet, chilli, okra, bringal and bottlegourd.
The event was attended by the farmers and seed distributors across the Maharashtra state and other states, scientific community, eminent industry experts and students.
Addressing to the visiting press persons Mr Ritesh Mishra, Regulatory Affairs of company said that, Mahyco has been in forefront of innovation from its inception and has always worked to enhance the farm productivity and farmers profitability through continued thrust on innovation in seeds.
Mahyco innovation day was conceptualized to showcase Mahyco’s innovations to the world and emphasize on importance o innovations especially in seeds to revive the agriculture sector.
Farmers should follow seeds technology to get more benefit if they will not strictly followed
technology production will be hamper, he said.
Mahyco is focusing on the technique of pretreated seeds treatment ,Bactria treatment, on farm treatment and technology to get more production in less water, he said.
Speaking on the occasion Mr Bharat Char, lead bio-technology of company said that, around 5000 visitors will visit during the two days event which provides a perfect platform for all the stakeholders mainly farmers and scientists to come together to interact and understand various technologies and their benefits to
farmers besides interactions on industry challenges and opportunities.
