2 civilians mistaken for braid choppers thrashed by a mob in Srinagar: Police

Srinagar, Oct 6 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Police on Friday claims to have rescued two more civilians, who were thrashed after being mistaken as a braid chopper in this summer capital, Srinagar.
This incident comes on a day when a 70-year-old man mistaken as a braid chopper died this morning after being hit by a brick outside his house in south Kashmir district of Anantnag.
A police spokesperson said that around 1900 hrs, one more frenzied mob caught two civilians on charges of being braid cutters at Chopan Mohalla, Ishber in Srinagar.

Hyderabad, April 24 (UNI) The Election Commission of India (ECI) has issued a communication stipulating that every individual employed in any business, trade, industrial undertaking, or establishment, eligible to vote in elections to the House of the People or the Legislative Assembly of a State, shall be granted a paid holiday under Section 135 B of the Representation of People Act.
