2 ASIs killed in road accident in Punjab

Barnala, Dec 7 (UNI) Two Punjab Police ASIs were killed on the spot and two others serious injured when a truck rammed their car near Handiaya town of the district on Friday.
According to SHO Manjit Singh, the two have been identified as Malkiat Singh and Gurmeet Singh. The two injured were identified as ASI Sadhu Singh and Rachpal Singh.
He said all ASIs were going to Patiala for the Chief Minister's duty from Bathinda. When they reached Handiaya, the truck driver applied brakes and hit car from behind.
A case has been registered against the truck driver who fled from the spot.
