Manchester, Aug 6 (UNI) England pacers James Anderson and Stuart Broad took crucial wickets and restricted Pakistan to 187/5 at lunch on day two of the first Test at Old Trafford on Thursday.
Pakistan were able to add just 48 runs for 3 wickets in the first session as England fast bowlers choked the run flow and picked up the wickets of Babar Azam (69), Asad Shafiq (7) and wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan (9).
At the break, opener Shan Masood (77 not out from 225 balls) and all-rounder Shadab Khan (one not out) were at the crease.
