Manchester, Aug 5 (UNI) Pakistan were 139/2 at stumps after 49 overs against England on day one of the first Test here at Old Trafford on Wednesday.
On day one the rain continued in the entire three sessions and due to bad light the umpires were forced to stop the day one play of the third session.
Earlier, Pakistan won the toss and opted to bat. Pakistan were 53/1 at lunch.
Pakistan lost Abid Ali (16) in 15.1 overs and skipper Azhar Ali (0) in 18.1 overs. Pakistan's first wicket fell at 36 while second wicket at 43.
Jofra Archer dismissed Abid Ali while Azhar was lbw by seamer Chris Woakes. At Tea Pakistan were 121/2.
At stumps Babar Azam (69) and Shan Masood (46) were at the crease.
