16 persons detained in Rajouri as preventive measure for alleged drug peddling

Jammu, Oct 24 (UNI) As many as 16 persons have been detained as preventive measure on Tuesday in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.
"Authorities have taken 16 persons into preventive custody after their repeated involvements in different cases which primarily include drugs peddling," official sources here said.
In a recent meeting of police department, a threadbare discussion was held on activities of all those notorious persons who are becoming a threat to peace and help of intelligence agencies was also taken in shortlisting all such persons with main focus on notorious drug peddlers who not only remain involved in drugs peddling but also trigger unlawful activities many a times.
