146.61 lakh metric tonnes paddy procured in Punjab

Chandigarh, Nov 13 (UNI) The Government agencies and private millers have procured 1,46,61,955 metric tonnes of paddy in Punjab till Monday.
Stating this here today, an official spokesman said that out of the total procurement from various procurement centres in the state, the Government agencies procured 1,45,72,206 metric tonnes of paddy while 89,749 metric tonnes has been procured by the millers.
He said that PUNGRAIN has procured 50,67,254 tonnes, MARKFED 33,61,549 tonnes and PUNSUP procured 30,29,256 tonnes while Punjab State Warehousing Corporation and Punjab Agro Foodgrains Corporation procured 13,77,546 and 15,12,631 metric tonnes paddy respectively.
