Patna, Sep 30 (UNI) With 1439 new COVID 19 cases coming to light, the tally of coronavirus positive cases increased to 182906 so far in Bihar.
Health department sources said here today that of the new cases Patna reported with 225 followed by Purnea with 118, Gaya and Madhepura 67 each, Muzaffarpur 62, Nalanda 57, Madhubani 52, Katihar 45, Bhagalpur 44, Araria, Gopalganj and Lakhisarai 43 each, Banka and Jamui 42 each, Kishanganj 39, Supaul 36, East Champaran 35, Vaishali and West Champaran 33 each, Munger 32, Sitamarhi 27, Samastipur 23, Begusarai and Sheikhpura 21 each, Buxar 20, Saran and Rohtas 19 each, Jehanabad and Siwan 17 each, Aurangabad and Darbhanga 16 each, Kaimur 13, Nawada and Arwal 9 each, Saharsa 7, Bhojpur 5, Sheohar 4 and Khagaria 3.
Apart from these cases samples of 11 persons belonging to other states were collected and examined at various places in Bihar which were found to be covid-19 positive.
