14 shots fired in Amritsar: one dead, another critically injured outside Golden Avenue

Chandigarh, Sep 18 (UNI) A deadly shooting rocked Golden Avenue late last night when motorcycle-borne assailants fired 14 shots at a car, killing one young man and leaving another critically injured.
The victims, 24-year-old Nimish Kumar and his friend Harpreet Singh, alias Ganja, were driving when the attackers opened fire. Nimish Kumar was killed on the spot, reportedly struck by 14 bullets, while Harpreet Singh was rushed to a private hospital in Amritsar, where he remains in critical condition.
The deceased’s brother stated that Nimish, who worked in the recovery business, had no known enemies. He recounted that the attack was sudden, with unidentified youths on motorcycles targeting the car.
