11th World Hindi Conference concludes in Mauritius

Mauritius, Aug 20 (UNI) The 11th World Hindi Conference concluded in this Island nation on Monday, with a resolve to get recognition for Hindi as among the world's leading languages, while also establishing it as an official language, of the United Nations.
The three-day event, held at Swami Vivekanand International Convention Centre here, witnessed brainstorming sessions by around 2,000 Hindi Scholars, who expressed satisfaction over the worldwide journey of the great language. The intellectuals also gave suggestions and recommendations to make Hindi, the language of the masses, as well as the elite. The academicians delved over connecting Hindi with the latest technology, launching a new software and getting tech companies on board, for its growth and expansion.
