11 more anti-human trafficking police stations in UP

Lucknow, May 27 (UNI) To further strengthen the Anti-Woman and Child Trafficking Units in the State, Uttar Pradesh government has decided to notify 11 more Anti-Human Trafficking Units `Police Station’ very soon.
The government had already notified a dozen such cells as `police stations’ in the past.
According to an official statement of the Home Department released here today, Devashish Panda, announced that to further boost and strengthen the Anti-Human Trafficking Units (AHTU)in the State, they will notify 11 more as 'police station' so that they can have full powers of registration of cases, investigation, rescue and arrest operations and later ensuring that the accused could be convicted.
