Jammu, Dec 8 (UNI) At least 11 passengers were killed and many others injured when a bus they were travelling in skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday morning.
"Eleven passengers were killed and several others injured when a bus, they were travelling in, met with an accident in Tehsil Mandi and fell into a deep gorge," police here said.
The accident occurred near Plera in Mandi when the vehicle was on way to Poonch from Loran.
"The bus was overloaded," police said, adding that casualties may rise while injured were being shifted to Sub District Hospital, Mandi.
