11 get 'J&K Government Awards' on Republic Day

Jammu, Jan 25 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Government on Saturday announced “J&K Government Awards” on the eve of Republic Day here.
As per order issued by the Jammu and Kashmir General Administration Department, sanction is hereby accorded to the grant of J&K Government Awards on the Republic Day 2020, in favour of the personalities in different fields.
As per order, Rinku Raja Pandita (Posthumously) Cash Award of Rs One lakh, a Medal and a Citation in the field of Literature, Krishan Sharma (Writer), a cash award of Rs 51,000, a Shawl worth Rs 10,000 and a Citation to each awardee, Gh Nabi Lone @ Naji Munawar (Writer) in the field of Arts, Abu Sufyan Malik (Rabab Player) with cash award of Rs 51,000, a Medal and a Citation, in award for Excellence in Arts & Crafts, Fayaz Ahmad Mir, (Kani Shawl Weaver) with cash award of Rs 51,000, a Medal and a Citation, in award for Social Reforms and Empowerment, N A Qureshi, Child Nurture and Relief (CHINAR) with cash award of Rs 51,000, a Medal and a Citation.
In award for Meritorious Public Service, Shaleen Kabra, IAS, Principal Secretary to the Government, Home Department, Achal Sethi, Secretary, Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, cash award of Rs 51,000, a Medal and a Citation to each awardee, Tariq Ahmad Khan, Director General, CSS/BADP, Planning, Development and Monitoring Department.
