'zero electrical fire accidents' in Telangana, planning to adopt CESE certification

Hyderabad, Dec 27 (UNI) Telangana government is planning to implement ‘Chartered Electrical Safety Engineers (CESE) certification for below 650 watts voltage household and other buildings.
CESE certification will be implemented in the place self certification for new and existing electrical installations after issuing a notification by the government likely in one or two months,Telangana Government Chief Electrical Inspector Mr Ramana Prasad said at an awareness camp on 'electrical safety 'organized by International cooper Association India (ICA India) here on Thursday.
Currently, we are issuing certification for commercial and other buildings for above 650 watts voltage, he said there are above 750 certified electrical contractors in the state and the growth in commercial buildings was between 10-15 per cent every year.
