'We will topple this govt ': Uddhav and Aaditya Thackeray launch frontal assault on Centre at massive Azad Maidan rally

Mumbai, Jul 19 (UNI) In a thunderous display of political defiance that reverberated across Azad Maidan, Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray and his son, MLA Aaditya Thackeray, served a direct ultimatum to the BJP-led central government on Sunday, calling for a nationwide uprising to dismantle the regime.
The rally, organized to express solidarity with climate activist Sonam Wangchuk and hunger-striker Abhijeet Dipke, transformed into a blistering indictment of the union government’s performance. Uddhav Thackeray set a militant tone for the movement, declaring that the current government has become a liability to the nation. "This government must be reduced to ashes in the fire of public protest," the former Chief Minister thundered, urging the massive crowd to maintain the momentum until the administration is forced to resign.
Aaditya Thackeray, escalating the rhetoric further, drew a clear roadmap for the impending agitation. He demanded the immediate resignation of union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the ongoing examination irregularities, but cautioned that this was merely the opening gambit. "This is just the start," the younger Thackeray warned. "Our ultimate goal is to force the resignation of the Prime Minister himself. We are no longer asking; we are demanding systemic change."
