'Swami Ramdev: Ek Sangharsh' to go on air from Feb 12 on Discovery JEET

New Delhi, Feb 7 (UNI) A television serial 'Swami Ramdev: Ek Sangharsh' based on the life of Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev will go on-air from February 12 on Discovery JEET channel.

In an event organised by Discovery Jeet channel, Baba Ramdev said,'the screening of the serial will be held on February 10 at Chhatrasal Stadium and BJP president Amit Shah, Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad will be present on the occasion.'

He said the serial is based on his life and the struggles which he faced. He said he is work-oriented, and does not believe in destiny. The Yoga Guru said he had seen death seven times in his life very closely which has also been featured in this serial. He said politics is not his life's dream. 'I will never take a political position in my life and it is my pledge,' he said.

Referring to the importance of media, he said it has given him strength but it only discusses my success, adding, 'This tends to hide the story of my struggle from which people can get educated.'

Baba Ramdev said he is living the life of a monk and his dream is to educate one crore people and make them 'world citizens'.

The show 'Swami Ramdev: Ek Sangharsh' is made on a budget of Rs 80 crore will have 85 episodes and will be aired on 'Discovery JEET', the new entertainment channel from Discovery India. The show stars Kanti Prakash Jha and Naman Jain in the leading roles.
