New Delhi, Sep 3 (UNI) This Friday witnessed one of Bollywood's loved horror comedies 'Stree' starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao in the lead.

Minting Rs 13.26 crore on day three, the Shraddha Kapoor starrer has witnessed a total of Rs 31.26 crore over the weekend.

Shraddha Kapoor has given Rajkumar Rao his highest opener film ever.

While actress Shraddha Kapoor has had her highest opener with 'Ek Villain' (2014) with approximately Rs 16 crores, 'Stree' gives Rajkumar his highest day one.

Interestingly, Rajkumar whose filmography boasts of a number of commercially viable female leads like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Kangana Ranaut, Vidya Balan, Sonam Kapoor to name a few, has hit a career milestone with Shraddha Kapoor's Stree.

The film has received a thumbs up from audience and critics alike with the viewers hailing the heartwarming chemistry between Rajkumar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor.

The duo has cast magic at the box office, charming moviegoers.
