'Silkyara 41' based on Uttarakhand tunnel rescue, to be displayed on big screen

Mumbai, Jul 10 (UNI) The makers have announced "Silkyara 41", a feature film inspired by the dramatic Silkyara tunnel rescue operation in Uttarakhand and the pivotal role played by internationally renowned tunnelling expert and local Australian hero Arnold Dix.
The screenplay has been penned by acclaimed Australian screenwriter Andrew Anastasios (The Water Diviner) and directed by award-winning Indian filmmaker Kabir Khan. This movie marks a unique collaboration between India and Australia, bringing together the creative strengths, storytelling traditions, and production expertise of both countries.
This announcement comes at a time when India and Australia are deepening their relationship and embarking on a new chapter in bilateral cooperation. In this context, 'Silkyara 41' stands as a powerful example of cooperation, shared values, and the human spirit.
