'Samabhav' film festival  in Kolhapur from Feb 6

Kolhapur, Feb 3 (UNI) A three-day 'Samabhaav' (equal feelings) film festival will be held at Ram Ganesh Gadkari Hall, here from February 6.
The festival is being organised by an NGO Men Against Violence and Abuse (MAVA) under auspices of Kalamaharshi Baburao Painter Film Society (KBPFS) Mahila Dakshaa Committee and New Education Society.
Mr Deelip Bapat, KBPFS secretary, said the aim of the festival was to make public aware and address issues of gender inequality and discrimination by interrogating the existing dominant model of masculinity, and prevent gender-based violence against women.
