‘Real Kashmir Football Club’ series trailor released

New Delhi, Nov 11 (UNI) The makers of 'Real Kashmir Football Club' have unveiled the trailer for their upcoming original series, which chronicles the inspiring journey of two visionaries who built Kashmir’s first professional football club from scratch — ultimately competing in India’s top-tier league and winning a national trophy.
The trailer captures powerful emotions of brotherhood, resilience, and hope, starring Manav Kaul and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub in leading roles.
Reflecting on the project, Manav Kaul said, “Being a Kashmiri, this story holds a very special place in my heart. Real Kashmir Football Club is not just about football — it’s about the human spirit and the belief that change is possible even in the hardest of times. It’s a story of resilience, dreams, and the courage to create something beautiful.”
Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub added, “This is a celebration of friendship, faith, and conviction. It’s raw, emotional, and deeply human. What these men built wasn’t just a football club — it became a symbol of hope for an entire community.”
Produced by Jaya Entertainment, Oshun Entertainment, Kapital Entertainment, and SK Global Entertainment, the series is directed by Mahesh Mathai and Rajesh Mapuskar, with writing by Simaab Hashmi, Umang Vyas, Dhruv Narang, Danish Renzu, and Mahesh Mathai. Abhishant Rana also plays a pivotal role.
Executive producers include Kilian Kerwin, Vishakha Singh, Jeff Sagansky, Florence Sloan, Aaron Kaplan (Kapital Entertainment), and Matt Aragachi and Michael Hogan (SK Global Entertainment).
Inspired by true events, Real Kashmir Football Club is a heartfelt tribute to courage, camaraderie, and the transformative power of sport to unite and inspire. The series will premiere on Sony LIV on December 9.
