'Rail Roko' passed off peacefully in UP

Lucknow, Oct 18 (UNI) The 'Rail Roko' agitation, which was called by Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) seeking the resignation of Union Minister of states for Home Ajay Mishra Teni over the Lakhimpur Kheri violence, passed off peacefully in Uttar Pradesh on Monday with protesting farmers at several places also withdrawing their call.

Only at a few places in Western UP, some trains were stopped but only for a brief period to make the protest just 'symbolic'.
