New Delhi, Jan 27 (UNI) Bollywood star Shahrukh Khan starrer 'Raees' scored over Hrithik Roshan starrer 'Kaabil', earning Rs 20 point 5 cr on its opening day, trade sources said. In comparison, 'Kaabil' had an opening day collection of Rs 10.43 cr. Though the trade sources said that 'Raees' has taken a huge lead over 'Kaabil', veteran actor and 'Kaabil' producer Rakesh Roshan and director Sanjay Gupta expressed satisfaction over the performance of the film. Expressing satisfaction at the reception for 'Kaabil', Roshan said, 'So glad that Kaabil has been Kaabil enough of this much love & appreciation! I'm truly overhwmeled.…" Trade sources said the SRK movie has performed well in the overseas markets as well. On its opening day, the film earned over rs 5.25 crores overseas. Trade sources said 'Raees' is faring extremely well in most circuits abroad, especially in the UK circuit. Both Raees and Kaabil was released on January 25 worldwide. 'Raees', Directed by Rahul Dholakia, also stars Mahira Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in pivotal roles.
