"Bengal'll help us win more than 300 seats" : PM

Taki, May 15 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday said with the blessings of the people of West Bengal, BJP will make a government on its own.

Mr Modi claimed that all the surveys were giving BJP a full majority without an alliance.

"But didi, after seeing your frustration and the support from the people of Bengal, I'm saying Bengal will help us win more than 300 seats," he said.

Addressing an election rally here, which falls under Basirhat Lok Sabha constituency, Mr Modi said, " BJP will make a government on its own, BJP is getting full majority. Didi, write this

down. "

Amid a row over BJP activist Priyanka Sharma's arrest for sharing a meme on Mamata Banerjee, Mr Modi lashed out at TMC supremo and said "Didi, the girls you are putting in jail will now teach you a lesson.”

He asked why Mamata took offence to the meme shared by Priyanka.

"Didi I'm told you are an artist and a painter. Why are you offended by a photograph ? " he questioned.

“Didi, you are an artist... draw a mediocre painting of me, and after May 23 when I will become the Prime Minister again, gift that painting to me and I will accept it lovingly and keep it with me. I won't lodge an FIR against you,” he commented.

The Prime Minister said, " Ground slipping from under Didi's feet, she's now scared to see her own shadow. "

“Which age are you taking Bengal to? This is what used to happen when elections happened after Emergency. You have brought Bengal to that age of Emergency,” the Prime Minister said.

He said, " Yesterday, the entire nation saw what happened in Kolkata, and the entire nation is discussing about this. "

" In West Bengal, BJP's wave has frightened 'Didi', " Mr Modi commented.

“University students have started revealing the kind of politics that 'Didi' is following... remember, the democracy that installed you as the CM with respect, today for power you are trying to betray those people,” the Prime Minister remarked.

" Mamata didi had declared publicly two days ago that she will take revenge. She fulfilled her agenda within 24 hours, BJP President Amit Shah's roadshow was attacked, " Mr Modi said.

He alleged Didi used to think that she can continue ruling by betraying and threatening the people of this state.
