'Pehredar Piya Ki' is the most difficult show I have done till now: Tejaswi

New Delhi, Jul 6 (UNI) After impressing TV viewers with her portrayal of Ragini in the popular show 'Swaragini', actor Tejaswi wayangker will now be seen in a 'cute romance' in 'Pehredar piya ki', the new show to be telecast on Sony entertainment television. In the TV show, Tejaswi , known for Swaragini, plays the role an 18-year-old princess Diya who gets married to a ten-year-old prince Ratan Singh. After impressing viewers in the family drama 'Swaragini', Tejasvpwi is really excited to do 'Peheredar Pita ki', which is based on a unique concept. Talking to UNI in an interview, the actress said,'I have never thought of doing this kind of a show. The concept of this show is very different and very new. I am loving the responses that people are giving us. Though very few people know about our show, I feel this different concept will keep people glued to their TV sets.' She, however, denied that the show promotes child marriage. 'No, it is not a show promoting child marriage. Though there is a child getting married in the show, we are not going against the law. 'Everything is done ritually . We (Diya and Ratan Singh ) are married but we are not going to do what a married couple really does, in terms of the romance angle. Rather, it is a very cute bond of friendship" On working with child actor Afaan, who plays Prince Eatan Singh, Tejaswi said, 'He was very cooperative . He is a talented kid and has done lots of daily soaps before. Though he is a little bit naughty but he is really cooperative. ' Tejaswi said playing Diya was challenging considering that the role required her to speak pure Hindi. 'Having been brought up in Mumbai, speaking pure Hindi is really difficult for me. Also, I am not among those people who live away from their family but I am living in Rajasthan for this show. This is most difficult thing for me,' she said. On her experience of working with senior actors Parmeet Sethi, Kishori Shahane and Jiten Lalwani , she said,' The best thing about them is they have really appreciated me. They are really nice and warm. They have guided and supported me a lot for this role" The actress said shooting in Jaipur for the show was fun. 'I went to different forts in Jaipur. I ate different Rajasthani cuisines. After working for long hours I used to enjoy the weather,' she says. UNI XC/AR RSA 1033
