"NIA judge resigned  What does this mean?" Mamata

Kolkata, Apr 17 (UNI) Reacting to the resignation of NIA judge, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday said justice is silent in the country.

“ NIA judge resigned. What does this mean? Justice is silent. And are the accused golden?’” Ms Banerjee posted on her social networking page.

Special National Investigation Agency (NIA) court judge Ravinder Reddy, who delivered the Mecca Masjid blast case verdict on Monday, resigned from his position citing personal reasons.

Earlier on Monday, all the five accused in the Hyderabad's Mecca Masjid blast case, including Swami Aseemanand, were acquitted due to lack of clinching evidence.
