‘National e-Vidhan Application’ proposed in Meghalaya Assembly

Shillong, Apr 24 (UNI) The Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs has proposed to implement a mission mode project in Meghalaya Assembly – ‘National e-Vidhan Application’.
The Himachal Pradesh is already the first digital legislature of the country.
NeVA is a Mission Mode Project under the digital India programme and the Ministry Parliamentary Affairs is the nodal ministry for its implementation in all the 31 States/ Union Territories with legislatures, Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs secretary, Surendra Nath Tripathi said at a workshop for members of the State Assembly and staff of the Assembly Secretariat as well as officers of various departments of the state government on "National e-Vidhan Application (NeVA)" under the digital India programme to ensure that the State Assembly goes fully paperless or e-Assembly.
