"My alternative has taken birth within SKM" : Sikkim CM PS Tamang

Gangtok, Feb24 (UNI) Chief Minister PS Tamang and Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) chief urged people to get united in the interest of the state and their own while addressing a gathering at Siribadam village in Rinchenpong constituency in West Sikkim on Tuesday.
Welcoming the eminent Sikkim Democratic Front party dissidents during the programme in the party, he offered khadas (traditional scarf) to them as well as ordinary people who joined the party yesterday.
"I do not say that there is no alternative to me, like leader Pawan Chamling said. My alternative has taken birth. My alternative has emerged within our Sikkim Krantikari Morcha party. I will hand over all responsibilities happily when the time comes. It's wrong to say that Chief Ministers should continue to stick to their chair for as long as possible. According to our party principles, one is not permitted to hold the position as a Chief Minister and even as a minister for a very long time," said PS Tamang stated.
