“Meghalaya Govt took ‘right steps’ with Assam”

Shillong, Jan 16 (UNI) The Meghalaya Government has taken the “right steps” towards resolving the inter-state boundary dispute with neighbouring Assam, United Democratic Party (UDP) president, Metbah Lyngdoh said on Sunday.
The UDP is a key constituent of the National People’s Party (NPP)-led ruling Meghalaya Democratic Alliance (MDA).
“We have submitted representations to the state government since 2020 on the various long pending issues of the State. The first issue is the inter-State boundary dispute with Assam.
