'Know your Army' mela organised in Arunachal

Itanagar, Jan 24 (UNI) A ‘Know Your Army’ mela was organised by Indian Army at Menchuka in Shi-Yomi district of Arunanchal Pradesh, a Defence spokesman said on Sunday.
The two-day mela which concluded on Sunday, was organised by as part of the Republic Day celebrations, to spread awareness about armed forces among civil population and motivate youth to join Indian Armed Forces, said Guwahati-based Defence PRO Lt Col P Khongsai.
The event included display of wide array of state-of-the-art military weapons and equipment which demonstrated the technological advancement and military might of our country, he said.
