“Khelo, Seekho, Badho, Rajasthan” campaign to transform early childhood education launched

New Delhi, Oct 9 (UNI) Aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) 2022, a three-year campaign ‘Khelo, Seekho, Badho, Rajasthan’ has been launched in the State’s Baran district, one of India’s most underserved aspirational regions with an aim to ensure equitable access to quality early childhood education.
The initiative inked recently between the Rajasthan Government, IMC India Securities and Sesame Workshop India Trust (SWIT) will directly impact 8,000 children and 500 anganwadi workers (AWWs) across the Kishanganj and Atru blocks in Baran. Its goal is to establish a high-quality, play-based early learning model that can serve as a replicable framework across the state and country under Early Childhood Care Education (ECCE) model, according to a statement issued here from the SWIT.
“This MoU marks a pivotal step in redefining early childhood education in Rajasthan. Our efforts focus on equipping anganwadi workers and supervisors with continuous training and locally relevant learning materials to foster joyful, child-centered education,” said Rajasthan Government officials including Vasudev Malawat, Director, Dr. Dharmveer Meena, Deputy Director (IEC), and Gurdarshan, Joint Director, Monitoring, Integrated Child Development Services, Rajasthan.
