'I'm more a spiritualist than an actor' : Rajinikanth

Chennai, Feb 5 (UNI) Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth has said that he was more a spiritualist than an actor.
At a book release function held here last evening, he said 'I am more a spiritualist than an actor'.
He also said he had always liked reading books on spirituality and value spiritualism more than name, fame and money.

and that is why I like it', he said, at the launch of the Tamil translation of the book ‘The Divine Romance’ by Paramahansa Yogananada.
'‘More than an actor, I am proud to be known as a spiritual person', Rajini said.
Speaking about the influences in his life, the actor said his first guru was Sachidananda followed by Ramakrishna Paramahamsa.
'We should keep ourselves ready with a clean and pure heart to gain spiritual energy', he added.
The actor also spoke about his frequent trips to the Himalayas and his spiritual experience of getting ‘Baba’ film script through Babaji and shared his entire journey of the film.
The launch was held as a part of the centenary celebrations of the Yogoda Satsana Society of India which was founded in 1917 by Paramahansa Yogananada.
The book ‘The Divine Romance’ is the second book in a trilogy, which includes a vast range of inspiring spiritual topics.
