New Delhi, Aug 13 (UNI) It takes the dark to appreciate the light, the night to feel the day, the black to notice the white and the evil to value the good.

Life is a blissful paradox and home to both the Yin and Yangs of the world.

Diving into this dichotomy, &flix, the all-new destination for the most-awaited Hollywood hits, is set to premiere the fantasy-adventure ‘The Dark Tower’ this Sunday, August 19 at 1300 hrs and 2100 hrs.

Directed and co-written by Nikolaj Arcel, the film is centered around Idris Elba as Ronald Deschain, Mathew McConaughey who plays his arch-enemy Walter Padick a.k.a. 'The Man in Black' and Jake Chambers as Tom Taylor.



Jake, an average New York teenager is frequently seen to have some troubling dreams of a parallel universe called Mid-World.

Taking cues from his visions, Jake finds an abandoned house with a peculiar machine that turns out to be a portal to Mid-World. Venturing into this mystery land, Jake chances upon Ronald and shares with him about his dreams of The Dark Tower – the one that holds the universe together.

However, Walter uses his evil magic to bring down this tower by strapping young kids and using their ‘shine’. With the whole world in jeopardy, together Jake and Ronald, set out to foil his plans and protect 'The Dark Tower' from tumbling down.

The finale sequence in New York is a spectacle with red skies hovering and the deadly earthquakes as the ultimate battle of good versus evil decides the fate of the universe.
