‘Ek vidhan, ek pradhan’: Shah lauds Modi, slams Cong for ‘power-sharing’

Chhatarpur, MP, Apr 23 (UNI) Stressing that the country can have only “one testament and one superior,” Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Amit Shah on Tuesday put archrivals in political crosshairs by alleging that the country’s development was impeded during Congress tenure as there existed two centres of power.
“There was a period when attacks were perpetrated on Mumbai and other places. However, since the Narendra Modi dispensation was constituted, terrorists’ morale is at low ebb. The BJP government courageously neutralised terror chieftains within their very dens. On the one hand, we eliminate insurrectionists while on the other the Congress mourns. That party – which fans separatism in Kashmir – is transforming into a peril for national identity,” he averred while addressing a late-evening election rally in Khajuraho parliamentary constituency’s Rajnagar.
Turning his gun at his Congress counterpart, Mr Shah said that “Rahul baba” – eyeing the Premier’s post – winks within Parliament while the Prime Minister interacts with world leaders by looking them in the eye.
