‘Ek Mask – Anek Zindagi’ drive begins in MP

Bhopal, Aug 1 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Urban Development and Housing Minister Bhupendra Singh on Saturday launched the ‘Ek Mask – Anek Zindagi’ campaign via videoconferencing from his residence and flagged off promotional chariots of numerous urban bodies, it was officially learnt.
“Despite having come in contact with many novel coronavirus-infected individuals, I remained safe due to my mask and gloves. I even underwent testing on two occasions. On the one hand, infection is spiralling while on the other, people are becoming careless. Doubtlessly, the mask is the simplest and most economical way to avoid the contagion. Mask banks will be established in all bodies with cooperation of donors and voluntary organisations. Masks will also be provided at major squares. As contagiousness is higher in non-rural areas, the role of urban bodies is crucial. For generating awareness, vehicle rallies were taken out in Bhopal, Indore, Sagar, etc,” the senior politician averred.
