'Dearest George'-Alicia Souza's gift of love to hubby, readers!

Kolkata, Sep 25 (UNI) Popular illustrator Alicia Souza turns into an author with her first book 'Dearest George' set to hit book stands next January.
Alicia dedicated the book to her best friend and husband George and shared precious notes from her love story with the readers. The book will be released in January 2020, in time for Valentine’s Day, Penguin Random House which announced the acquisition today, said in an emailed note to UNI here.
In this very special debut, the 32-year-old, known for her whimsical and humorous illustrations, brings her light-hearted comic style from webpages to book pages in a compilation of comic strips--some old and some new. Fans of her work and readers are in for a treat with Alicia packing the book with not only her stories but also some wonderful surprise such as tear out post cards and stickers.

Kolkata, Apr 22 (UNI) Barring splinter injuries to at least six persons, including a child, at Titagarh in North 24 Pargana district, nearly a casualty free election was witnessed on Thursday in West Bengal's 43 assembly seats for the sixth phase in four districts with turnout being around 80 per cent.
