'Daivakanam' to be premiered at Cannes Intl Film Fete

Kozhikode, May 1 (UNI) 'Daivakanam' (The God Particle), a short film by Prasanth Nair, IAS will be premiered at Cannes International Film Festival, 2018.

The IAS Association in a tweet has said the film by Prasanth Nair, a former Kozhikode District Collector, would be premiered at Court Metrage in Cannes International Film Festival, 2018.

''Truly proud of Prasanth Nair, IAS, who directed Daivakanam,'' it said.

Hogged limelight for launching many popular projects including 'Operation Sulaimani,' a free meal scheme, during his stint in Kozhikode, Prasanth is now Private Secretary to Minister of State for Tourism (Independent Charge) Alphons J Kannanthanam.
