‎BJP releases second list of 12 candidates for Bihar Assembly elections

Patna, Oct 15 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today released its second list of 12 candidates for the Bihar Assembly elections, with Maithili Thakur and former IPS officer Anand Mishra being the prominent names.
The list was announced by BJP National General Secretary Arun Singh at the party headquarters.
According to the list, noted folk singer Maithili Thakur, who joined the BJP only yesterday, has been nominated from the Alinagar Assembly constituency. Former Indian Police Service (IPS) officer Anand Mishra, who had joined the BJP on August 19 after quitting Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraaj, has been fielded from the Buxar seat.
