Singer Shaan makes appeal to Mumbaikars to vote on May 20

Mumbai, Apr 28 (UNI) Famous singer Shantanu Mukherjee alias Shaan on Sunday made an appeal to Mumbaikars to stay in Mumbai on May 20 and vote wholeheartedly on this day.
The elections will be held in all six constituencies of Mumbai city, including four constituencies of Mumbai Suburban district, on May 20.
In the background of the Lok Sabha elections, various activities are being implemented by the Mumbai
Suburban Collectorate to create awareness among the voters.
As a part of these activities, under the Voter Awareness and Participation (SVEEP) programme under the Bandra West constituency of the Assembly, which falls under Mumbai North-Central Lok Sabha constituency, 'Vote to Vote Rally' was organised from R V Technical School, Ramakrishna Marg, Khar Gymkhana.
Speaking on this occasion, singer Shaan said, "Our voting is the soul of democracy. Everyone has a national duty to vote. If planning to go out on May 20, it should be postponed by one day."
